SubscribeThere are only 48 teams and roughly 120 hours left in the Nebraska high school volleyball season left. What those teams do in the remaining hours left will determine how the final Nebraska Elite Volleyball High School Rankings look next week.
As for this week, though, a lot of the rankings should look very similar to last week’s.
Class A remains exactly the same with all seven of the top teams winning their district title last week and Class B only has one minor change with Elkhorn South upsetting Gretna in the substate round.
Class C-1 is where the biggest changes happened. We’ve talked all season about the depth and talent of teams in this class and that was proven in the district tournaments. Defending champion Kearney Catholic made the biggest noise and jumped from the top of the contenders list into the rankings at #3 following their remarkable postseason play.
The remainder of the classes remained fairly stable heading into this week’s state tournament in Grand Island. For the complete rankings in all classes, please click on the High School Rankings tab at the top of the page.
