NPV Tournament Brings Best of the Best Together This Weekend

OMAHA – This weekend, 48 of the top club teams from Nebraska and two of the very best from Iowa will be taking part in the 2nd Annual Nebraska Prep Volleyball Best Of The Midwest Invitational.
The two-day tournament begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday and concludes Sunday evening. All tournament matches will be conveniently played in a single location – Nebraska Elite Sports & Fitness Complex at 1212 N. 102nd St. in Omaha.
Invitations for the tournament were sent at the same time for teams from the following clubs in Nebraska: Nebraska Elite, Nebraska Juniors, Nebraska ONE, Performance VBC, Premier, River City Juniors, VCNebraska, Club Legacy. A select few clubs from outside of Nebraska were invited as well. The breakdown of club representation is as follows:
Nebraska Elite – 11 teams
River City Juniors – 10 teams
Nebraska Juniors – 10 teams
Performance VBC – 6 teams
VCNebraska – 5 teams
Nebraska ONE – 4 teams
Adrenaline – 2 teams
Premier – 2 teams
Between the 50 teams, there will be more than two dozen players competing that have committed to Division I programs and many, many more that have committed to play at other levels. Four of the teams are ranked nationally.
