Papillion-LaVista South sophomore setter/libero Ashlyn Dierks is the team’s only Class A product. Dierks has been a back-up setter for the Titans the past two years but has seen the court quite a bit as a back row player and serving specialist and finished 2017 as the team’s libero, replacing an injured Leah Palensky.
Another name followers of high school volleyball in Nebraska will be familiar with is Katie Maser, the starting setter for Class C-1 runners-up Grand Island Central Catholic.
Other members of the 16 Black team are Josie Jakubowski of St. Paul, Hannah Kepler of Milford, Sarah Clinch of Kearney Catholic, Halle Theis of Fillmore Central, Devyn Burroughs of Beatrice, Saige Christo of Ashland-Greenwood, Karissa Paden of Norris and Mackenzie Vitosh of Diller-Odell.
