Nebraska Elite 182 Envy rolled through pool play on Friday without much trouble to advance. Elite defeated Zoom 181 25-11, 25-9 and then knocked off Impact 18 Pink 25-9, 25-14 before finishing the day with a 25-14, 25-17 win over Team KC VBC 181.
Premier 18 Black went 2-1 on the day with a 25-15, 25-17 win over Ohana 18U and a 26-24, 25-18 win over Zoom 181 to advance up.
Performance 18 NIKE also went 2-1 with a 25-11, 25-19 win over OK Excel 18s and a 25-20, 27-25 win over IPVA 18 Red. Both Performance 18 NIKE and Premier 18 Black will play in the same pool on Saturday.
TeamMagic 181 went 2-1 as well, with a 25-21, 25-13 win over OK Charge 18 National and a 25-21 25-15 win over Panther Volleyball 18 Black.
A total of eight teams of the 14 remaining will advance to Sunday’s championship bracket.
Banzai 181 went 1-2 on the day and is playing in the consolation round.
