SubscribeORLANDO – The final wave of competition came to an end yesterday at the AAU National Championship in Orlando, which also brought about the end to the club season for nine teams from Nebraska.
In Open Division play, VCNebraska 16 Elite (pictured above) finished in a tie for 23rd place in 16 Open while Nebraska Elite 16 Vici finished 36th and Nebraska Juniors 161 finished in a tie for 42nd in the division as well.
In 18 Open, Nebraska Juniors 181 finished tied for 19th place.
In Premier Division play, Club Legacy 16 ROX finished 73rd in 16 Premier while Nebraska Juniors 162 was 95th.
In Club Division play, Nebraska Elite 16 Apollo tied for 45th place in 16 Club while River City Juniors 16 Navy finished tied for 161st place and Nebraska Juniors 163 finished in a tie for 165th place.
In total, 37 teams from Nebraska took part in the AAU National Championship and combined for six top 10 finishes in their respective divisions.
