The USA High Performance track allows athletes from the same region that have been competing against each other all club season to come together and compete for Badger Region. The tournament provides great exposure for athletes to college coaches and to play with and against some of the top talent in the country. Here is an in depth look at all the players who will be representing Badger Region.
Lizzie Binder – Class of 2021 – Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold – Sheboygan North
Binder is one of the top recruits available in the Class of 2021. A go to pin hitter for Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold, Binder brings quite a physical presence to the net at 6’2 and very strong. Binder is more than just a power game, she is well rounded being able to play on the left or right side, and is very dependable in the back row in serve receive and passing. There are plenty of offensive weapons on this team, but Binder will be a major go to and depended upon to match up against the opponents top hitter. Binder was on the High Performance team last year as well and will bring great experience. This fall, Binder and the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders will be a team to keep an eye on.
Alexis Boling – Class of 2021 – Midwest Penguins 15 Black – Waukesha West
Boling packs a major punch out of the middle, extremely athletic and can move from pin to pin to close the block and take away the split. Midwest Penguins 15 Black had a very successful year winning the Badger Region Qualifier and Boling being named to the Great Lakes Power League All Tournament which very few 15s made the list. This upcoming season Boling will be on a very talented and athletic Waukesha West team that hasn’t always been a traditional power, but definitely has the pieces for a great season.
Isabella Bratzke – Class of 2021 – Milwaukee Sting 15 Black – Indian Trail
Bratzke was one of the main go to outside hitters for Milwaukee Sting 15 Black that had a very successful club season, finishing in the Gold Bracket of 15 Premier at the AAU National Championships in Orlando. A strong swing and the ability to play six rotations will be key for this team where she can provide a swing out of the backrow and a live arm on the left side.
Tatum Catalano – Class of 2021 – Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold – Germantown
Catalano is on the radar for Division 1 coaches with the ability to play any of the front row positions. This past club season she played mostly out of the middle, but with her athletic ability and quickness she can play anywhere. With the international rules that are at High Performance Championships there are different substitution rules where players may have to play front and back row or be a situational sub. Catalano could see significant playing time or would be clutch coming off the bench for a quick kill
Camryn Lukenbill – Class of 2021 – Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold – Burlington
Lukenbill already has a decorated career after a stellar Freshman campaign for Burlington High School and Sting 15 Gold. A prototypical middle hitter, Lukenbill provides a lot of power out of the middle and can approach off one foot to score.
Sam Naber – Class of 2021 – Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold – Burlington
Naber committed to Marquette this Spring as a libero. Naber took the state by storm as a Freshman at the state tournament, being the starting libero and winning a state championship for the Demons. Naber was on the All State team and will be returning for the Demons to defend their title. Naber’s ability to read and anticipate along with take pace off a hard driven kill is what sets her apart from the rest of the liberos in her class. And she flat out competes.
Hattie Bray – Class of 2021 – Wisconsin Volleyball Academy 15 Black – Wautoma
Bray was the go to hitter out of the middle for WVA 15 Black. A quick and springy jumper, Bray is still relative raw in her ability and training and playing against high level competition will elevate her game. With her jumping ability she could be used on the right side as well to be a solid block for this team.
Courtney Pearson – Class of 2020 – Wisconsin Volleyball Academy 16 Black – Kimberly
Pearson may be the best jumper with the highest reach out of the group. A solid basketball player as well, Pearson is gaining the interest of Mid Major Division 1 and Division 2 schools for volleyball. This will be great exposure for her to play on a big state in Tulsa. As a hitter, she can hit the sharp angles, and has great court vision to score points in a hurry. She will one of the main go to players for Kimberly who will be looking to get back to the Division 1 state tournament.
Grace Rohde of Winona, MN taking Badger Region by storm. Solid pin hitter, plays for V-Hawk out of La Crosse. pic.twitter.com/79CCiYSDEX

Grace Rohde – Class of 2020 – V-Hawk Xtreme – Winona, MN
Rohde is probably the biggest surprise out of the group coming from Winona, MN, playing for V-Hawk Xtreme out of La Crosse. Rohde brings a complete game to the team where she can play front and back row and is just as good on both pins. The combination of Binder and Rohde in the front and back row will provide a great swing and outlet on either side in any situation.
Isabelle Schauer – Class of 2020 – Milwaukee Sting 16 White – Watertown
Schauer is a gamer, she will be the setter for this team running a 5-1. She led the Sting 16 White team to the Badger Region Championship and a number of other tournament championships. Her ability to turn it in on in the clutch will be huge, and her scrappiness is something you can’t see on a program. The combination of Schauer and her hitters will be fun to watch develop throughout the tournament.
Sammie Seib – Class of 2021 – Wisconsin Juniors 15-1 – Catholic Central
Seib will be a top Division 4 player this fall for Catholic Central out of Burlington. As a Freshman last year she had almost 300 kills for the Southeastern Wisconsin small school program. Seib’s roll could be very critical on this team as she could be used in a variety of situations to play on the pin or a defensive specialist.
