There is one National Division bid up for grabs for the winner of the eight-team, double-elimination tournament and one American Division bid available for the runner-up.
It is likely to take a vast majority of the day to determine the bid winners. Competition starts at 8 a.m.
The top seed in the tournament is Premier 18 Gold while Nebraska ONE 18 Titanium enters the tournament as the #2 seed. Premier 18 Black is the third seed.
However, teams will need to be leery of the seeding because it is based on such a small sample size at this point in the season. VCNebraska 18 Elite absolutely has an outstanding chance at winning the tournament as the #4 seed and the top team from Nebraska Juniors – 18 Black – starts as the #5 seed, creating an interesting match-up with VCNebraska 18 Elite in the opening round.
Nebraska Juniors 18 Red is the #6 seed while VCNebraska 18 Black is the #7 seed and Nebraska ONE 18 Power is the #8 seed. Only eight teams are allowed to participate in the tournament.
Below is the bracket for tomorrow along with the schedule. We will keep you posted on our social media accounts if things change due to the weather.
