River City Juniors will have seven teams competing this weekend in the 15s-18s age division. Generally, the number of teams from Nebraska making the trip to the JVA World Challenge is much larger, but this year it coincides with the Show Me USAV Qualifier in Kansas City, which is where a good number of teams are traveling.
But at the JVA World Challenge, the teams from River City Juniors will find themselves competing against some of the top clubs in the nation.
In the 18 Club division, both the River City Juniors 18 Navy and 18 Red teams are competing. River City 18 Navy comes in as the #20 overall seed in the 64-team division while 18 Red is seeded #52.
River City Juniors will be competing in the 17 Club division in Louisville and enter the tournament as the #48 seed in the 64-team tournament.
In the 16 Club division, River City Juniors will have both its 16 Navy and 16 Red teams participating. There are a total of 72 teams in the division with River City 16 Navy being seeded #40 overall and 16 Red is right behind at #41.
Both River City Juniors 15 Navy and 15 Red will take part in the 15 Club division this weekend. The 15 Club division is one of the largest in the tournament with a total of 84 teams taking part. River City Juniors 15 Navy is seeded #41 overall while 15 Red is seeded #75 overall.
