Webster County swept longtime rivals Hopkins County Central, Union County and McLean County during the regular-season to capture the PAC Volleyball Championship.
Through 32 games, Eastwood has recorded 190 kills, a team-high 231 assists and 73 aces for the Lady Trojans. Eastwood emerged as a leader for Webster County early in the 2019 high school volleyball season.
One of the most underrated volleyball players in the 2nd Region, Jones leads Webster County at the net with a team-high 238 kills. Along with pacing Webster County in kills, Jones has posted 35 blocks, 89 digs and 42 aces in 32 games.
During the same stretch, Ellis has provided 274 digs and 68 aces for the Lady Trojans. Ellis leads Webster County in both digs and aces.
With the trio of Eastwood, Jones and Ellis leading, Webster County has compiled a 17-15 record through 32 games in the 2019 high school football season. Eastwood, Jones and Ellis were each named to the All-6th District Volleyball Tournament Team.
After taking the conference title, Webster County finished runner-up to Henderson County in the 6th District. The district runner-up finish allowed Webster County to advance to the 2nd Region Volleyball Tournament at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School.
