Thacker, a setter/defensive specialist, excelled during her prep career. Now, she’ll have the chance to compete for an in-state college at the next level.
Campbellsville concluded the 2018-19 season 17-18 following a loss to 10th-ranked Lindsey Wilson in the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Tournament. Boasting a roster featuring several former Kentucky high school standouts, Campbellsville defeated Pikeville in an opening match of the conference tournament after entering the postseason as the eighth seed. Campbellsville expects to return all but three members of its latest team for the 2020 college volleyball season.
The Mid-South Conference is made up of Campbellsville, Lindsey Wilson, Pikeville, Thomas More, Georgetown, Cumberland (Tenn.), Life, Cumberlands (Ky.) and Shawnee State.
