Here are five 15s to watch in 2020.
Mackenzie Austin (Bravo Volleyball Club): As a freshman libero for Bowling Green, Austin contributed throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season. Austin will be looking to carry momentum over into her club campaign.
Bella Blackburn (Northeastern Kentucky ELITE Volleyball Club): Excelling for Paintsville throughout her freshman season, Blackburn recorded 931 assists and 239 games in 37 games (110 sets).
Briley Burns (Central Kentucky Volleyball Academy): As a freshman, Burns paced Adair County (5th Region/20th District) in kills and blocks while emerging as a leader for her high school squad.
Gabrielle Gerry (KIVA Red): Currently a 6-5 freshman middle hitter, Gerry will look to contribute for Assumption during the 2020 high school season. But first, she’ll be on the floor contributing for her club team, KIVA 15 Red.
Sydney Helmers (KIVA Red): Contributing as a freshman outside hitter for state champion Assumption, Helmers recorded 93 kills over 23 games (49 sets) in the 2019 high school season. Now, she’s headed into a promising club campaign.
