Milburn excelled for Woodford County throughout the 2019 high school season, helping to lead the Yellow Jackets to the 30th District title and an 8th Region runner-up finish. North Oldham defeated Woodford County 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-11) in the 2019 8th Region title match. However, Woodford County managed to compile the best record (31-9) and RPI (.62296) among 8th Region teams in the 2019 season.
In the 41 matches (121 sets) of her senior campaign, Milburn recorded 921 assists, 276 digs, 140 kills, 59 blocks and 68 aces. Milburn led Woodford County in assists and aces. She ranked second in blocks and digs for 30th District champion Woodford County.
Kentucky State competes with longtime rivals Spring Hill, Central State, Lane, LeMoyne-Owen, Tuskegee, Miles, Albany State, Benedict, Paine, Savannah State, Clark Atlanta and Fort Valley State in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). A member of the SIAC West Division in addition to Spring Hill, Central State, Lane, LeMoyne-Owen and Tuskegee, Kentucky State ended its 2019 season 25-14 overall and 16-2 in the conference.
