In talking with Coach Micah Rhodes, he’s very excited to start the season with this team:
I am ecstatic for the upcoming club season, and honored to be leading this group of young women alongside several amazing assistant coaches. The team is loaded with talent and versatility across the board in every skill set. From a coaching standpoint, that is exciting—having the opportunity to utilize players in different roles if necessary and making it difficult to scout our team. Not only are they physically gifted, but they have incredible volleyball IQ and work ethic. The girls are very determined to repeating and surpassing their successes from last year. Coach Micah Rhodes
He shared the following information with me…..
The team has nine returning players, including all-state attackers
Ella Waters and
Skylar McCune, setters
Madi Woodin and
Maisie Boesiger, and libero
Estella Zatechka. The addition of
Shaylee Myers, an outside hitter from Lincoln Southwest, increases the team’s offensive firepower.
Maisie Boesiger (2022) Setter, Norris – talented setter who runs a quick offense and has the ability to maintain tempo even when pushed off the net; engaged defensively with solid ball control;
Class B Second Team All-State (Lincoln Journal Star), All-Conference (EMC), Honorable Mention Class B All-State (OWH)

solid all-around player who could see time as outside hitter and libero; has all shots offensively and reads extremely well defensively; Class A Second Team All-State (Omaha World Herald/Lincoln Journal Star), All-Metro 2nd Team, All-Area First Team
Sadie Millard (2022) MB, Millard West –
while not the tallest middle blocker, she is the most fluid and powerful jumper on the team; excellent blocker who reads well and has good vision on attack; could play any front row position and can hold her own in passing and defense. Honorable Mention All-State Class A (OWH and LJS), Third Team All-Metro
Shaylee Myers (2022) OH, Lincoln Southwest –
