Five KIVA 16/17 White players to watch follow.
Elizabeth Fisher: A 5-6 freshman setter from North Oldham High School, Fisher will be looking to gain experience during the 2020 club season. She’s among the youngest players for KIVA 16/17 White.
Julianna Hakel: A six-foot junior middle hitter from Eastern High School, Hakel excelled throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season. Hakel ranked first in blocks and third in kills for Eastern, which captured the 2019 28th District title and made an appearance in the 7th Region Volleyball Tournament.
Anamaria Popa: A 5-5 freshman outside hitter from Kentucky Country Day School, Popa is among the area’s most improved young volleyball players. Popa stepped in and delivered for Kentucky Country Day as a freshman.
Kendall Weck: A 5-9 sophomore setter from Atherton High School, Weck is a consistent performer. She contributed for the Rebels throughout the 2019 high school season and will look to carry momentum over into the club campaign.
Madelyn Winspear: A 5-2 junior defensive specialist from Ballard High School, Winspear helped her prep team finish runner-up in the 28th District and make an appearance in the 7th Region Volleyball Tournament. Eventual state champion Assumption ended Ballard’s postseason run.
