Off to a stellar start in the 2020 club season, KOVA 16 Kia is made up of the following players: Breanne Tribble (DS/RS), Emma Davis (S), Kennedi Fishback (OPP/DS), Kirstynn Yarber (L), Maggie Weaver (MB/OH), Morgan Dawson (RS/MH), Ryleigh Almasi (OH/DS), Valery Zavala (OH/OPP/DS), Julianna Frank (OH/DS) and Zayah Moore (MB/RS).
In all, three different KOVA teams earned top-five finishes during the opening weekend of the 2020 season.
The complete results from Kentucky Ohana Volleyball Academy’s opening weekend were as follows: 1st – KOVA 16 Kia (5-0); 4th – KOVA 18 MANA (3-2); 5th – KOVA 16 NALU (3-2); 7th – KOVA 16 Honua (2-3); 10th – KOVA 18 KOA (2-3); 11th – KOVA 14 Etana (1-4); 12th – KOVA 18 Mahina (0-5); 13th – KOVA 15 Lani (0-5); 16th – KOVA 13 Opio (0-5).
KOVA teams have returned to the court, resuming practices to prepare for the next tournament in the 2020 season.
