The divisions for the Central Zone Invitational were 12 Premier, 13 Club Blue, 13 Club Red, 13 Open, 14 Club Blue, 14 Open, 14 Premier, 14 Club Blue, 15 Club Blue, 15 Club White, 15 Open, 16 Club Blue, 16 Club Red, 16 Open, 16 Premier, 17 Open, 18 Club, 18 Open and 18 Premier.
In all, eight different Lexington United teams — 66 Adidas, 13 Baden, 16 Baden, 44 Adidas, 12 Adidas, 15 Baden, 14 Baden and 18 Adidas — recorded Top 10 finishes in the Central Zone Invitational.
The Central Zone Invitational featured squads from several different states, some of which were Kentucky-based club teams.
A breakdown of Lexington United Volleyball’s results from the Central Zone Invitational follows.
Lexington United Volleyball 66 Adidas defeated KIVA 16 White to win the Central Zone Invitational 16 Premier Championship. On its way to the first-place finish, 66 Adidas compiled a 7-1 record.
Lexington United Volleyball 14 Baden won the Central Zone Invitational 14 Club Silver Division Championship.
Lexington United Volleyball 16 Adidas won the Central Zone Invitational 16 Open Silver Division Championship.
Lexington United Volleyball 18 Adidas won the 18 Open Silver bracket.
In other Lexington United Volleyball results from the Central Zone Invitational, LUV 17 Adidas finished 5-1 in 17 Open while 13 Baden, 44 Adidas and 16 Baden each finished fifth in their respective division.
Following the opening day of the tournament, Lexington United’s 12 Adidas, 13 Baden, 44 Adidas, 14 Baden, 15 Baden, 15 National, 66 Adidas, 16 Baden and 16 National each headed to a gold bracket.

Additional Lexington United teams competed in the K2 Clash in Knoxville, Tenn. All 10 Lexington United Midwest squads competing in the K2-hosted tournament advanced to a gold bracket.
Lexington United’s 12 Black, 14 Black, 15 Black and 17 Black each posted runner-up finishes at the tournament in Knoxville.
Another Lexington United team, 11 Black, compiled a perfect 4-0 record in the Bluegrass Power League on Sunday.
Now, Lexington United squads will focus on multiple upcoming tournaments in the 2020 season.
