Outside hitters are among the juniors excelling in Louisville during the 2020 club campaign.
Here are six Louisville junior outside hitters to watch.
Anna Bluemeier: A 5-11 junior outside hitter/opposite hitter, Bluemeier is a student-athlete from Male High School. An experienced hitter, Bluemeier will have an opportunity to help lead her prep team later in the year. But first, Bluemeier is competing for Union Asics 17-1.
Caroline Cermack: A 5-11 junior outside hitter/middle hitter, Cermack is a student-athlete from reigning state champion Assumption High School. Taking the floor for the majority of the Rockets’ matches in the 2019 state title campaign, Cermack provided hitting while faring well defensively. Currently, Cermack is competing for KIVA 17 Red.
Macy Graves: A 5-9 junior outside hitter/opposite hitter, Graves is a student-athlete from Male High School. An athletic player, Graves has the ability to deliver kills as well as record blocks. Graves is competing for Union Asics 17-1.
Isabella Hughes: A 5-7 junior outside hitter/defensive specialist, Hughes is a student-athlete from Holy Cross High School. Continuing to show the ability to excel offensively and defensively, Hughes is expected to make a bigger impact for her high school squad during the 2020 high school season. Hughes is competing for Union Asics 17-1.
Natalie Kirzinger: A 5-11 junior outside hitter, Kirzinger is another student-athlete from state powerhouse Assumption High School. Contributing for the Rockets as a junior, Kirzinger played well out of a reserve role, producing in multiple categories. Kirzinger is competing for KIVA 17 Red.
Fallan Lanham: A 5-8 junior outside hitter, Lanham is a student-athlete from Mercy Academy. Among the leaders for state runner-up Mercy Academy as a junior in the 2019 prep season, Lanham registered 209 kills, 308 digs and 87 service aces. Lanham is competing for KIVA 17 Red.
