Here are five underrated Louisville seniors-to-be.
Jayda Branch: A 5-10 junior middle hitter/outside hitter, Branch is a student-athlete from Butler High School. Versatile, Branch has delivered as both a middle hitter and an outside hitter. A consistent player, Branch has developed into a precise passer who can also excel as a blocker. Currently on a roster in the 2020 club volleyball season, Branch is a member of KIVA 18 White.
Elizabeth Clay: A 5-11 junior middle hitter, Clay is a student-athlete from Eastern High School. A key contributor for her high school squad, Clay carries the responsibilities of a middle hitter well. An experienced middle hitter, Clay blocks opponents’ shots regularly and uses quick attacks on offense consistently. Clay is competing for KIVA 16-17 White.
Allison Holloway: A six foot junior middle blocker, Holloway is a student-athlete from 2019 KHSAA State Runner-up Mercy Academy. Quick and strong, Holloway thrives at combining to form solid two-person blocks with teammates and is a solid blocker individually. In addition to blocking, Holloway has emerged as a solid passer. Holloway is competing for Union Asics 18-1.
Gianna Gatti-Vice: A 5-11 junior middle hitter, Gatti-Vice is a student-athlete from Walden High School. A leader for her high school team, Gatti-Vice is a skilled blocker who reads setters well and manages to get back quickly in transition. Gatti-Vice is competing for PNK Volleyball.
Kate Whittle: A 5-2 defensive specialist, Whittle is a student-athlete from Sacred Heart Academy. A defensive standout, Whittle excels as a server and produces in numerous categories. In addition to her strong serving, Whittle has shown the ability to keep rallies alive with stellar back row passing. Whittle is competing for KIVA 16/17 White.
