Katie Howard Katie Howard OH Greenwood | 2021 State KY : A senior outside hitter to-be, Howard will enter her final year at Greenwood High School and continue to be a vital part of the squad. Racking up 488 kills in 112 sets, she led her team to the state quarterfinals in 2019. Howard has started for the team in almost every set since her freshman year and is one of the region’s most versatile players. She plans to attend Western Kentucky University to continue her academic and athletic career.
Sydney Clayton Sydney Clayton S South Warren | 2021 State KY : Soon to be senior setter, Sydney Clayton Sydney Clayton S South Warren | 2021 State KY was a region standout with 993 assists in 98 sets, earning the number 5 spot in Kentucky’s top assists. Clayton earned her starting spot freshman year where she soon led the team to the state semifinals back in 2017. Rachel Dezarn: Dezarn made a memorable impression as just a freshman middle hitter this past year. Entering her sophomore year, she will lead Logan County High School to hopefully their 18th consecutive district championship. Dezarn earned an all-district and all-region spot in only her first year for Logan County. She holds a promising future for the Lady Cougars with her smart mind and athletic ability.
Kayli Hadley: From Clinton County, this 6’1 soon to-be senior helped clench their district 16 championship in 2019 as well as a solid 26-8 season. Hadley had 365 kills in 84 sets which made her 15th in the state for top kills. Everyone should keep an eye out for this strong middle hitter as she enters her last year for the Lady Bulldogs.
