Here are four 10th Region freshmen to watch.
Emma Manser: A Campbell County freshman middle blocker, Manser was successful at her position throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. As a freshman, Manser registered 82 kills, 36 blocks and 7 digs. Manser possesses solid jumping abilities and is aggressive at the net.
Emma Renaker: A Harrison County freshman setter, Renaker thrived while playing in a dozen matches during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Renaker posted 205 assists, 70 digs and 14 service aces during her freshman campaign. Renaker is an accurate passer and vocal leader.
Savannah Ryan: A Calvary Christian freshman defensive specialist/setter, Ryan is versatile and was productive throughout her freshman campaign. Ryan was a leader for Calvary Christian, tallying 335 assists in addition to 83 digs, 20 service aces and 11 kills. Ryan delivers both offensively and defensively and has displayed the ability to produce from various parts of the court.
Marissa Taylor: A Harrison County freshmen middle hitter/outside hitter, Taylor emerged as a consistent contributor during her freshman season. Taylor appeared in 16 of Harrison County’s 22 matches, recording 30 kills, 19 digs, 6 service aces and 4 blocks. Versatile, Taylor excels in the middle and is a strong hitter from the left side.
