Seniors
Kelle Anwander (Toms River South)
Anwander was a key component for a Toms River South team that advanced to the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals. She finished with 202 kills, 131 digs, 95 blocks, 84 service points and 21 aces earning her an All-Shore first team. As a senior, she will be even more dominant in her senior campaign.
Emma Gildea (Southern)
Gildea was remarkably third in kills on the dominant Southern squad. She is going to be moving herself to the primary option this year. Watch out for a monster year. She finished with 136 kills, 35 blocks and 8 kills.
Ciara Rheiner (Pinelands)
Rheiner was in the shadow of Emma Capriglione and with the graduation of Capriglione, she will be a focal point of a Pinelands team. Rheiner finished with 104 kills, 21 blocks and 34 digs.
Chelsea Ross (Jackson Liberty)
Ross was the focal point of the offense on a solid Jackson Liberty squad. She finished with 160 kills, and 71 blocks. Look for her to be more dominant this season.
Junior
Mary Heugel (Colts Neck)
Heugel had a solid sophomore campaign as one who was the number 2 option. She finished with 49 kills, 41 blocks and 37 digs. Her versatility in the middle will make her a difficult one to deal with.
This season is going nothing short of unprecedented but even with a shorter schedule. These ladies are going to be right there at the top statistically not alone in the Shore Conference but throughout the state of New Jersey.
