The 15-8 team played in the Momentum Madness tournament on February 20, 2021. Here is a look at three of their players who performed well in those matches.
RS, Emma Hinds, 5’3”, (Junction City) – Hinds is a bulldog on the court. She finished the first match of the day with five serve receptions, three digs, and one kill. She will be a player that Junction City can build around in the future. She might be suited as a defensive specialist after high school, but right now she looks like a possible JUCO talent.
OH, Mara Crane, 5’8”, (Chapman) Crane had a solid first match of the day. She finished with five service receptions and one kill. She is a solid defensive player who hustles well.
L, Clare Kuntz, 5’2”, (Chapman) Kuntz is a raw talent with high energy. She has good lateral movement and makes nice passes. The Chapman freshman is a leader on the court and her teammates feed off her energy.
