Here are four 2024 10th Region hitters on the rise.
Alexis Cornett (2024) is a middle hitter/outside hitter from Pendleton County High School. A productive young high school volleyball player, Cornett uses quick attacks regularly. Cornett possesses solid passing skills and can deliver from both the front row and the back row.
Mariah Niemeier (2024) is a middle hitter/outside hitter from Augusta High School. Poised to take on a larger role for her team in the 2021 high school volleyball season, Niemeier adjusts well to sets coming from any location and can hit from both the front row and the back row regularly.
Marissa Taylor (2024) is a middle hitter/outside hitter from Harrison County High School. Versatile, Taylor possesses a quality all-around skill set and delivers in multiple categories. Taylor provides a strong presence along the middle of the net and is a strong hitter from the left side.
Ella Thorwarth (2024) is an outside hitter/middle hitter from Campbell County High School. Thorwarth elevates well at the net and has displayed the ability to block consistently, both individually and with teammates. Athletic, Thorwarth is quick-reacting and reads opposing hitters efficiently.
