Numerous high school volleyball players from Region 4 are carrying momentum over into the upcoming campaign.
Here are three Region 4 middles on the rise.
Katie Baer is a senior middle blocker/outside hitter for Logan County High School. Agile, Baer moves well from side to side and closes blocks with the opposite hitter and outside hitter regularly. Versatile, Baer possesses solid jumping ability and can deliver as a hitter from the left side of the net.
Makayla Brooks is a senior middle hitter for Barren County High School. Athletic, Brooks executes quick attacks consistently and contributes as a strong blocker. A talented front row player, Brooks reads opposing hitters to set up blocks successfully and works well with teammates.
Maddie Stallings is a senior middle blocker for Allen County-Scottsville High School. Stallings has shown the ability to read the setter and adjust her approach to get the most out of an attack. Productive has displayed leadership skills and is poised to make a larger impact during her senior season.
