Hunter Kleeberg, ’22, 5-6 S, Prairie Heights
Seeing varsity playing time all four years of high school is one thing. Over 1000 career assists and running a 5-1 offense for a combined 48 wins over the last two seasons will be a huge hole to fill for the Panthers moving forward. She’s quick, accurate, and athletic; those are three traits you can’t exactly say for all setters in class 2A in Indiana.
Kalli Aaron, ’22, 5-11 MB/OH, Prairie Heights
Starting all four seasons has helped Kalli make her mark in the Panther record book. Her most efficient season was this past fall (.285), and has tallied 1062 kills, 186 aces, 193 blocks, 759 digs and a ton of primary passing responsibilities over those four seasons. 89 wins in four years is tough in any class. Kalli was a part of it all.
Emma Clark, ’22, 5-6 S, Cowan
Moving up a class due to the tournament success factor is tougher for smaller athletes like the Blackhawks. No matter. Playing in Delaware County is all the training you need in the state of Indiana, regardless of class. Emma was on the roster all four years of high school and was the primary setter in her last three. Over 1500 assists later, along with a state title (’19) in the mix, it’s clear how important Miss Clark was to the Blackhawks.
Faryn Morris, ’23, 5-9 OH, Wabash
Over the three years of solid playing time, Faryn has seen her stats increase each year. That improvement has kept the Apaches relevant in volleyball circles, earning 70 wins over those three seasons. Miss Morris was the lead attacker (324 kills), and was top two in aces and digs for Wabash. She was also a primary passing six-rotation outside, so her responsibilities are well documented. Thankfully, the Apaches get her for one more year. Here’s to hoping their success, and hers, continues.
