Sophia Reavis Sophia Reavis 6'2" | OH Laguna Beach | 2022 CA , 6-2 Outside, Laguna Beach HS, Tstreet – Reavis finished the season on a tear, recording double-digit kills in the final nine matches. It featured a season-best 28 winners in a season-ending five-game loss to Aliso Niguel in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 semifinals on Oct. 30. Her 491 kills for the season not only led the Breakers but accounted for more than a third of the team’s kills for the year as she averaged 5.0 kills/set. She was also second in digs with 243, second in blocks with 33 and second in aces with 48. Reavis is committed to UC Santa Barbara.
Jade Light Jade Light 6'3" | OH Pleasant Grove | 2022 CA , 6-3 Outside, Pleasant Grove HS, SynergyForce – There’s no doubt who the go-to hitter was for the Eagles this fall and Light more than held her own when called upon. She powered the attack with 459 kills during the regular season, averaging 5.4 kills per set. In her best outing, she put down 32 winners in a five-game victory against ST. Francis on Sept. 13. Light was also among the team leaders in digs with 234 during the regular season, also adding 34 blocks. Her 63 aces led the team. Light is committed to UC Davis.
Sienna Noordemeer, 5-11 Setter, Village Christian, SG Elite – The season closed on the Crusaders with a loss to Mira Costa in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals. It’s unlikely Village Christian makes it that far without the play of Noordemeer, who is committed to Northwestern. She averaged 9.6 assists/set, totaling 844 for the regular season. Her 52 dimes in a loss to ‘Iolani was a season high. Four other times she broke the 40 mark. Noordemeer was also third in blocks (36) and digs (163) and fourth in aces (32).
Mia Dilley Mia Dilley 5'6" | DS/L Clovis East | 2022 CA , 5-6 Libero/DS, Clovis East, Valley VA – What a season it’s been for Dilley, who’s been a force in the backcourt for The Timberwolves. She finished the regular season with 469 digs, which led the team by a wide margin. She set a season best by making 38 digs in a four-set loss to Central on Oct. 5. She’s also been money from the service line, leading Clovis East with 45 aces during the regular season.
Ensley Alden Ensley Alden 5'10" | OH San Marcos | 2022 CA , 5-10 Outside, San Marcos, SoCal – Alden’s future is on the sand, as she’s committed to UCLA for beach. However, it’s here play indoors that still has San Marcos alive in the CIF San Diego Section Open Division playoffs after knocking out Torrey Pines in the quarterfinals on Oct. 30. She topped the Knights in kills with 350 during the regular season, hitting .381 in the process. She was second in digs (242) and first in aces (54). She had a season-high 17 kills in a sweep over Rancho Bernardo on Oct. 19.
