Zoe Rachow Zoe Rachow 5'11" | S Otay Ranch | 2023 State #141 Nation CA , 5-11 Setter, Otay Ranch HS, Coast – Averaging 8.6 assists per set, Rachow carried an impressive load this fall and wound up with 824 dimes during the regular season. Her best outing was putting up 47 assists in a five-game victory against Bonita Vista on Oct. 15. She had 43 dishes in a five-set loss to Patrick Henry on Sept. 15. Her 208 digs during the regular season was also among the team leaders in that category.
Morgan Wilding Morgan Wilding 5'10" | S University Prep | 2023 CA , 5-10 Setter, University Prep HS (Redding), SynergyForce – The offense was in good hands with Wilding at the helm. The junior racked up 856 assists during the regular season, averaging 8.4 per set. She also came through on the service line, dealing 79 aces. That was third most on the roster. Wilding put up a season-high 49 assists in a Oct. 5 victory over Yreka. Nine more times she surpassed at least 30 assists.
Zoe Morales Zoe Morales 5'6" | DS/L Bishop Montgomery | 2023 State CA , 5-6 Libero/DS, Bishop Montgomery HS, Surfside – Morales proved a defensive stalwart for the Knights during the fall. She averaged 4.7 digs per set and led the team in total digs with 408. She also paced the team from the service line with 44 aces. Only three times in 30 outings did she not reach double-digits in digs, with her season high coming in the opening match of the season with 22 against South.
Liz Hertzog, 6-0 Middle Blocker, Mater Dei HS, Mizuno Long Beach – Going at Hertzog when she’s front row might not be the best choice of attack. The junior put up a wall defensively in the middle, recording 111 blocks during the regular season and averaging 1.1 per set. That’s impressive enough but she also made noise offensively. Her 232 kills wee second most on the roster during the regular season as she hit .412.
Jahniya Jackson Jahniya Jackson 5'10" | OH Cosumnes Oaks | 2023 CA , 5-10 Outside, Cosumnes Oaks HS, SynergyForce – Jackson shoulders the attack for the Wolfpack as she proved a difficult cover for opposing defenses. The junior recorded 401 kills during the regular season. Part of that total was her putting up 42 winners to close the regular season in a five-set thriller over St. Francis when she hit .306 as well. She ended the regular season second in digs with 174.
