Continue ReadingDay two was no different as the talent was everywhere. As the teams wrap up the weekend, it was a battle to see who would come out on top. The following players made an impact on day 2 of the 2022 Frozen Lake Festival and have earned their way onto the All-Stars list.
Day 2 All-Stars
Skyleigh Young – Mova 17O / Libero
Young was quick and smart with her sets. She was able to get the ball to her big hitters, along with keeping her team motivated with her energy on the court. She was tough on defense and coverage making her a top player on this Mova team.
Thea Paltani – GCVC 17 Blue / Pin Hiter
Quick feet, able to get a fast approach and and even faster arm swing. She was strong on both sides of the ball, scoring points and chipping in with some great blocks.
Rylee Stookey – 17 Prime / Pin Hitter
Super athletic, she was a go to player when they needed to score. Stookey looked calm and confident and played with an energy that was contagious for her team.
Chloe Madden – Rage 18U / Pin Hitter
She was able to elevate and score over and through the block, as well as being able to track the ball to either press over the net for a block or release and play defense. She was a key player for the Rage team.
Ecaterina Lett – MVC 17-1 / Pin Hiter
Strong swing from the right side and tough blocking at the net. She is a well rounded player that contributed from the service line with a tough serve that gave the opponents a good bit of trouble.
