During the prep season, Apsey is a do-everything player for Groves and has helped them be competitive in a very difficult conference.
3. Shelby Porter Shelby Porter 6'1" | RS Kenowa Hills | 2023 State MI , Kenowa Hills/MVA
Porter is another dynamic right that has good length at 6’1”. She’s shown improvement in all areas over the game with each year. This year she was a more consistent finisher, which is a great compliment to her already strong blocking skills. As she continues to dial up the aggression and gain confidence, she can really be a game-changer for Kenowa Hills and MVA.
4. Cece Pelak Cece Pelak 5'10" | RS Mattawan | 2023 State MI , Mattawan
Pelak is listed as a right side, but she’s definitely shown she can play anywhere on the floor. That includes setter. Pelak stands just 5’9”, but plays much bigger on the floor. She’s got tremendous explosion and lift on her attacks. She piled up an impressive 452 kills during the prep season while adding in 203 digs. Pelak is a gamer that is determined to make a play.
