Continue ReadingWe have been watching the 2024 class very closely throughout the entire high school season and used the data of wins and losses, stats, district finishes, awards, in person tournaments, matches and of course the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up the rankings.
Maren Johnson Maren Johnson 6'0" | OH Jenks | 2024 State OK [2024] Outside (HS: Jenks/Club: UPVBC/Verbal: Uncommitted) i
Maren has moved up the rankings in our first update. She is now ranked as the 7th best player in the entire state of Oklahoma. Miss Johnson plays at Jenks High School and also for an amazing club in UPVBC. We profiled her when we wroe about their wonderful tournament championship at Redland Rendezvous last month and here is a little refresher, “She is the “go to” hitter on this super team. They will go as far as her arm will take them. She can put it away from anywhere on the court and turn on the ball to hit around any block. She will for sure make a serious jump in the rankings when I update them in a few weeks.” We were right about this statement as she has made the largest jump in the State Rankings. Maren jumped 20 spots in our list of the best players in the state. Her stock is rising since absolutely showing out this past season for her high school team. She is now becoming a go to hitter for her club team also. We are excited to watch her continue to progress. College coaches should definitely be putting her on their short list of players to watch. Please congratulate her on the achievement.
Parker Gladhill Parker Gladhill 5'11" | MB Norman North | 2024 State OK [2024] 5-11 Middle (HS: Norman North/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are proud to announce that Miss Gladhill has moved nine spots up the rankings. She is now listed as the 9th best overall player in the 2024 class. She plays for Norman North High School and also for the awesome Oklahoma Peak Performance club program. We profiled her after we watched her team compete in the Redland Rendezvous tournament last month and she was phenomenal. Here is a little of what we stated about her, “Someone who I was very excited to see in person was Parker. This gifted middle has all of the tools you want in a lightning fast dominant middle. She could easily play on any front row position due to her superior athleticism and she jumps out of the gym. I loved what I have seen on Parker’s film when I analyzed her play, but in person she was deadly. She is someone who I will be talking to college coaches about for sure.” The words on this page do not do her justice as she is much better in person. If you are a college coach, you should definitely give her a chance. In my professional opinion she is a division one prospect for sure. Stay tuned for more on Miss Gladhill as we will be following her closely. Please help us congratulate her on the amazing achievement of being named one of the best players in the Sooner State.
Megan Branson Megan Branson 5'5" | DS/L Edmond Santa Fe | 2024 State OK [2024] 5-5 Libero (HS: Santa Fe/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Branson has moved up the rankings. Megan is now ranked as our 17th best overall prospect and 3rd best libero in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Santa Fe High School and also club volleyball for the Oklahoma Peak Performance program. We profiled her earlier this year after we watched her in person at the Redland Rendezvous tournament. We stated the following about her, “Super athletic Libero Megan’s movement and court vision make her stand apart from other liberos in the grad class and we cannot wait to move her up the rankings in a few weeks. She is a fantastic serve receive passer who is able to split the court in a two person serve receive formation if needed. Her super quick footwork and discipline with her posture would add substance to any team’s ball control at the next level. We will be following her career closely and you should too. Please help us congratulate her on moving up the State Rankings.
