Here are three 2025 16th Region defensive players on the rise.
Abigail Justus is a freshman libero from Rose Hill Christian School. Wallace was consistent for Rose Hill Christian throughout the 2021 high school volleyball season, helping to lead from her defensive position. A player who possesses solid passing skills and defensive skills, Justus covers the court extensively.
Amnisty Fritts is a freshman defensive specialist rom Bath County High School. Fritts contributed for Bath County throughout the 2021 high school volleyball season and will carry momentum into her sophomore campaign. Athletic, Fritts moves well across the court while possessing the ability to hit regularly.
Julia Wallace is a defensive specialist from Fairview High School. Agile, Wallace moves well from side to side in addition to being able to dig and pursue. A player who can deliver from various players on the court, Wallace is a strong communicator and works well with teammates. Wallace is poised to take on a larger role for her prep team as a sophomore.
