At 6’3, Cavanaugh is a big presence on the right side of the floor for a team that finished 3rd at NEQ, earning a bid to the 17 Open event at the upcoming GJNC. She has good double-arm lift action that gets her up in the air and on balance to take those big swings. She can swing wrist-away, cross body, and challenge the block well while also showing good skill foundation in her passing and defense as a six-rotation athlete.
Kaili Doctor | PGH 17 Elite
Doctor has the foundation to be an impact six-rotation pin attacker. She has good tools in her platform work when passing and is balanced with good quickness in her defense. At the net, she can generate a lot of power off her arm when on time and balance in the air. She gets good lift at the end of her approach and opens her arm and shoulders well to the ball.
Peyton Mast | NKYVC 17-1 Tsunami
Mast is an opposite attacker and left-handed. She had great moments throughout the weekend in her ability to help balance the court for this team with her arm on the right side. When balanced in the air she has the ability to hit with good range and with pace on the ball. Her stock continues to grow with each event thus far as this team as recent finishes of 7th at Bluegrass and 5th at NEQ.
Bianna Muoneke – HJV 17 Elite
One of the primary arms for this team, Muoneke can score a lot of points offensively. The Texas A&M commit elevates extremely well and can challenge blocks at their highest point well, while going over smaller blockers with ease. She has a great arm and the power she can generate starts with her footwork and momentum build. She has great versatility to score from both sides of the court with the same fluid movement and range. This team finished tied for 5th overall at NEQ.
Ava Smith – Circle City 17 Purple
With a 10’1 touch, Smith has ability to get well above the net to contact the ball, making her a tough match up. She is quick and explosive but still shows some rawness to her movement and timing. However, as she continues to gain great experience with the top team in the country, her skills are improving and creating more consistency in her output. She certainly has the ability to score points and potential to balance her hard hitting counterpart well and with similar effectiveness. Smith and her team recently won Bluegrass and followed that up with another event win at NEQ without dropping a set.
