18s
Open: Adidas Dynasty 18 Black and PVA 18 Elite both earned this Open Bids through early-season qualifier action. This evening, Dynasty Academy 18-1 was awarded an At-Large berth in the Open Division.
National: One National Bid becomes available with Academy’s At-Large bid. Pohaku 18-1 owns the other one currently. We believe the National Bid will trickle down to 417 Juniors 18-1, who currently own the region’s only USA Bid.
Liberty: Mizuno Club North 18-1 grabbed their bid in the first qualifier of the season and has a chance to make a strong run to a title in Phoenix. They will be joined in the division by Mavs 816 18-1.
American: We have two teams who were able to grab their bids from a qualifier in Invasion 18-1 out of Kansas City and Thr33 18-1 from Southwest Missouri. A handful of other teams earned their bid from Regional action and reallocation from other regions. These teams are: PVA 18-2, Missouri Juniors 18-1, Static 18-1
Freedom: North Storm 18-1 and Epic 18-1 currently round out the 18s teams with bids to Nationals. There should be at least one more team added to the mix with the At-Large berth noted earlier.
17s
Open: Mavs KC 17-1 started the season with a splash, grabbing their bid at Northern Lights. Adidas Dynasty 17-1 followed behind them to grab an Open Bid.
National: Power ‘] 17-1 and PVA 17 Elite are teams aiming to upgrade to Open bids through the qualifier season. We thought Power ‘] did such last weekend but it hasn’t been updated on the USAV page or HOA. The National bids are won in Power League action.
USA: From Topeka, Kansas; Topeka Impact grabbed a USA Bid during the early qualifier months.
American: We’ve shared numerous times, in our opinion the American Bid is one of the hardest to grab at qualifiers with only one available. Invasion 17-2 was able to get it done and secure one. Also joining them in Indianapolis will be Mavs 816 17-1, Pohaku 17-1, and Mavs KC 17-2,
Freedom: Mavs KC 17-3 will be the third team of the location and fourth of the age division program to grab a bid. Invasion 17-1 will be the other coverage area team with a Freedom bid collected.
16s
We believe the 16s Division from this region is at an Elite level when compared to others across the country. We talked recently about Dynasty 16 Black’s dominance through the first two months winning three tournaments and Power League. They have their Open Bid currently and have double qualified. Power ‘] 16-1 joined them in Open last weekend placing 3rd at MEQ.
The other team we expect to soon grab an Open bid is Mavs KC 16-1. They currently hold a National bid through Power League Play. Power ‘] 16-2 had an unexpected but Power ful run through Power League to get the second National bid after other teams upgraded. PVA 16 Elite grabbed themselves a Liberty Bid and they will look to better than in the coming weeks.
15s
Dynasty 15 Black we wrote about this week as they went and delivered in Indianapolis and brought home an Open bid. The National bids sit in the Mavs program currently with Mavs KC 15-1 and Mavs 816 15-2 securing those. PVA 15 Elite had a strong qualifying showing to get one of the three available bids. Mizuno Club North 15-1 and Invasion 15-1 have the bags packed after getting Liberty Bids.
