Kylie Surratt Kylie Surratt 6'0" | RS Pattonville | 2024 State MO – OH – 5’10” – Pattonville
Volleyball IQ is off the charts. The 5’10” outside is intelligent, powerful, moves exceptionally well, and transitions in for a nasty two-ball. Sophomore leader in kills for the area and the top three on her team in kills, blocks, aces, and digs.
Kayla Robertson Kayla Robertson 6'0" | MB St. Dominic | 2024 State MO – MB – 6’0″ – St. Dominic
The more offensive-minded middle for the Crusaders finished the year 2nd on the team in kills with 292. I had the chance to watch her play several times this year and came away really impressed with her hitting ability on the pins. She will be a lethal hitter with long arms and a powerful swing. Already hitting over most blocks and can terminate anywhere on the court.
Allison Risley Allison Risley 5'11" | OH Lafayette | 2024 State #187 Nation MO – OH – 5’10” – Lafayette
The best way to describe Allison is as a heavy ball hitter. A dynamite athlete plays six rotations and does the dirty work in the backcourt. Add in the kid’s high contact point and follow-through. I can see why she finished 2nd in kills on the powerhouse program at Lafayette.
Rylie Cepicky Rylie Cepicky 6'0" | OH Eureka | 2024 State MO – OH – 6’0” – Eureka
High reach on her swing and uses the block consistently. Another aspect of her game that I like is her line shot. She finished the year 2nd on the team in kills with 210 and provided the Wildcats with a solid #2 outside hitter. Give her another year, and she’ll become another D1 recruit out of Eureka.
La Shae Pearson Shae Pearson 6'0" | RS Francis Howell | 2024 State MO – OH – 6’0″ – Francis Howell Central
This one is a ball bouncer that makes getting off the ground to look down at her opposition look easy. The vertical, length, power, and swing are something to see. I love her line shot, and she either powers through or blockers or goes over them. I can’t wait to see what she’s like next year on the young but talented Spartans.
Alyssa Nelson Alyssa Nelson 5'8" | S Wildwood | 2024 State MO – S – 5’7″ – Lafayette
Watch her play, and you wouldn’t know she’s only a sophomore, but she would run the high-powered offense for the Lancers. With a plethora of hitters to choose from, Risley would keep Lafayette running smoothly and give them a solid quarterback for the next couple of years. A smooth operator and a joy to watch.
Olivia Hasbrook Olivia Hasbrook 5'9" | DS/L Eureka | 2024 State #56 Nation MO – L – 5’8 – Eureka
One of the best liberos in the city is just a sophomore and a dandy one. She might have been an underclassman but played like a veteran because of her hardcore defense and passing ability. She would lead the talented Wildcats in aces with 49, digs with 436, and finishes 2nd in serve receptions.
