The stakes were high and so was the level of play we saw. There were long rallies and amazing plays going on everywhere you looked. Nobody wanted to lose and it showed. The following players made big impacts on their teams and earned a spot on our All-Ohio Tournament Team.
All-Ohio Tournament team: 15s
Dylan Hunt Dylan Hunt 5'9" | OH Pickerington North | 2025 State OH – Mintonette Sports m.51s
Dylan was a right side hitter that wasn’t the tallest, but she did what her team needed her to do. She was able to get her hands on the ball for a block or even just to slow it down for her back row to pick it up. She was also effective on the right side, taking smart swings and scoring points for her Mintonette team.
Aubrey Anders Aubrey Anders 6'1" | OH Gilmour Academy | 2025 State OH – AVC CLE Rox 15 Red
Anders was a dynamic player, helping out in all aspects of the game. She was very efficient on serve receive, keeping her team in system. When she rotated to the front row, she was quick off the ground and was able to take big swings and place the ball where she could consistently score. A fun player to watch and I am sure we will be hearing more about her in the future.
Kennedi Culp Kennedi Culp 5'10" | MB Pickerington Central | 2025 State OH – Mintonette Sports m.51s
Kennedi was a literal wall for her team. Her timing was perfect and she was aggressive at the net, putting up a ton of blocks and frustrating the other team. She was also valuable on offense, getting up and taking big swings that her team needed in key moments of the match.
Hannah Foor– AVC CLE Rox 15 Red
A middle that could go from pin to pin and never seem to be tired. She had a great connection with her setter, letting her take quality swings and get those big momentum building points. She played with energy and celebrated with her team keeping the energy on her side of the net.
Mi-Na Diggs– NEOVC 15-1
With a last name like Diggs, she better be good in the back row, and she did not disappoint. To be honest, she was good no matter where she was on the court. A very undersized outside, however, that did not stop her from dominating at the net. Her jumping ability and the power behind her swing gave her all she needed to get the job done. So much energy and high volleyball IQ, she was a treat to watch.
