There is no shortage of Missouri and Kansas teams in the Gold Bracket heading into the final day, led by KC Power 15-1, who are looking to earn their USA bid. Rockwood Thunder 15 Navy had to hold their breaths to get into the Gold Bracket. A 1-2 second day tie with three other teams forced the tie-breaker scenario to come into play and Navy were able to finish second in the pool, sending them to Gold.
Mizuno Club North 15-1 own a Liberty Bid and are working their way up to the USA entering the final day. They are 5-1 heading into the final day. Their sole loss was to the same OK Charge team Dynasty will face, including a second set 31-29 marathon. Ava Glaeser and Carmyn Lee will help lead this team. From the other side of the state, HPSTL 15 Orange have put themselves in position on the last day after being perfect through their first five matches, before dropping their final yesterday.
Rounding out our local teams in bracket play will be Mavs KC 15-2. They also had a strong start to the tournament, knocking down each opponent until falling to TAV 15 Blue in the last match of the day on Sunday. They will take on Houston Stars this morning.
