Hope Duncan Hope Duncan 5'8" | DS/L Smoky Valley | 2024 State KS – Shockwave VB – 2024 – OH
Duncan, hailing from the Wichita area can fill up a stat line! The dynamic pin had 16 kills in one match we checked out last month. We like her ability to mix up her shots. Her court vision allows her to use the whole court with a mixture of power and finesse. We look forward to watching her play development as a back-row defender and attacker.
Langley Barger – FSC Cougars – 2024 – OPP/OH
Barger plays for a smaller program in Southern Kansas. The 5’10″ pin is able to score along the front row. We would label her a power hitter who is continuing to develop more shots in her arsenal. She plays up on a 17-1 team, which has given her some experience playing against bigger competition.
Josie McClean – Salt City Smash – 2023- S
McLean, from Nickerson High School, is nice! We checked out some videos and her ball placement is among the best we’ve seen in the state this year. Her sets are butter and she gives her hitters space and room to score at will. We like her ability to jump set, which helps hold the defense and keep them honest.
Mya Thompson – Salt City Smash – 2023 – Opp
The southpaw benefits from many of McLean’s sets during the club season. She is an exciting player to watch as she can pack a punch with her swings. We saw her play in Kansas City a couple of months back and were really impressed with her ability to carry the offense when needed. She is one who has the ability to play at the next level if she chooses volleyball over basketball.
