These athletes have been competing with and against each other their whole careers. Here are some of the Wisconsin commits from a busy month of April as the D1 live period wrapped up.
Kyleigh Coghlan Kyleigh Coghlan 5'6" | DS/L Kettle Moraine | 2023 State WI – Kettle Moraine – MKE Sting
Committed to UNC Pembroke
Coghlan is going to the Carolina’s to UNC- Pembroke which is coming off a 23-11 record in 2021. They are part of the NCAA D2 conference, Conference Carolina’s, which was won by Francis Marion (SC). Coghlan has always been among the top liberos in the Class of 2023 with plenty of success on the high school and club level. She always commands the back court with poise and confidence. She has earned All Tournament honors for Kettle Moraine where she has been the starting Libero since her Freshman year. KM will be returning a store core in 2022 where they will look to get back to the state tournament for the third time in four years.

Committed to Lander
Schneider can do a little bit of everything on the volleyball court where she is one of the most dynamic players in the Class of 2023. She can set and swing, her presence and skill set will automatically make the gym better. She is heading to Lander University which is a D2 school located in Greenwood, South Carolina. Lander is part of the Peach Belt Conference which was won by Augusta (GA). Schneider will have a senior campaign to finish at Waterloo where she has been part of their state tournament appearances in 2019 and 2020.
Emily Honzelka Emily Honzelka 6'3" | MB Kettle Moraine Lutheran | 2023 State WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran – MKE Sting
Committed to Toledo
Honzelka is heading to the MId American Conference (MAC) with teams as far west as Norther Illinois to Buffalo University in New York. Ball State was the champion in 2021. Honzelka will be heading to Toledo with a dynamic game out of the middle. She has plenty of length and is a major presence defensively providing a big block. Before heading to Toledo she will finish a successful season with Sting 17 Gold and a senior campaign with Kettle Moraine Lutheran. She has some unfinished business after a shortened season due to an injury in 2021. KML is always a threat in D2 come the post season.
Kati Goba Kati Goba DS/L Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State WI – Wisconsin Lutheran – MKE Sting
Committed to UW-Milwaukee
Goba is staying close to home where she will head to UW-Milwaukee who is coming off a huge season in 2021, winning the Horizon League. Goba has been the libero for Wisconsin Lutheran who has been a Milwaukee area volleyball power. She has also been on the Sting Gold squad as one of their Liberos where she know how to take pace off a hard driven swing and can serve receive on point. She has been a solid combo with Molly Berezowitz Molly Berezowitz DS/L Burlington | 2023 State WI for Sting 17 Gold this season. Berezowitz is also staying close to home where she announced earlier this season she will attend Marquette.
Autumn Flynn Autumn Flynn 5'11" | MB Luxemburg-Casco | 2023 State WI – Luxemburg-Casco – FC Elite
Committed to Memphis
Flynn is the newest commit of the Class of 2023 where she announced on May 2 she will be heading to Memphis. She won’t be the only Wisconsin native on the squad, Mackenzie Leach is a current member of the team after a successful career at Burlington and Milwaukee Sting. Flynn is coming off a final four finish at USAV 18 Open Nationals for FC Elite 18 Elite. This dynamic middle blocker will be looking to cap off a four for four finish with four consecutive D2 state titles. She has demonstrated that she can play out of the middle or on the pin, either way the other side of the net needs to know where she is at all times.

Molly Rohde Molly Rohde 5'11" | MB Hortonville | 2023 State WI – Hortonville – FC Elite
Committed to Rider
Rohde is heading to Rider University is Lawrenceville, New Jersey, just seven miles south of Princeton. Rohde has been on the Prep Dig radar since summer of 2020 where she was a big time standout at the Prep Dig Summer Showcase and has continued to soar of available prospects in the Class of 2023. Rider is part of the MAAC, where they had 19 total wins in 2021, finishing second to Fairfield in the MAAC Championship. Rohde will bring a dynamic game out east where she’s a fast twitch middle that is extremely quick laterally. She can get to the pin quickly, closing the block, and working to transition where she can be available to attack offensively. Her game has quickly developed over the past season and she will continue to be a big time weapon as she develops her ability to attack off one foot.

Sydney Selburg Sydney Selburg 5'8" | S Westosha Central | 2023 State WI – Westosha Central – Wisconsin Juniors
Committed to St. Thomas (FL)
Selburg is continuing the pipeline of Westosha Central athletes to the Southeast! Former Falcons, Kennedy Muff and McKenna Hall, have found success at the D2 level with Muff earning D2 All American honors at Flagler (FL) and Hall being a key member of the indoor and beach team at Carson-Newman (TN). Selburg is a setter who can be deadly offensively with a left handed swing and is extremely well trained and fundamentally polished. She is real scrappy, being an essential part for the success of Westosha Central and Wisconsin Juniors . She is heading to St Thomas University in Miami, Florida where they are part of the Sun Conference (NAIA), winning the 2021 regular season title.

Sylvie Zgonc Sylvie Zgonc 5'11" | OH Sussex Hamilton | 2023 State #115 Nation WI – Sussex Hamilton – MKE Sting
Committed to South Dakota State
Zgonc was one of the top available players in Wisconsin’s class of 2023, playing for Milwaukee Sting 17 Gold A blend of power and finesse is the name of the game for Zgonc who brings a heavy arm where she can hit the split as well as hammer down the line. She can handle a large volume of serve receive as well. South Dakota State is part of the Summit League where they qualified for the conference tournament in 2021 where the tournament was won by in-state rival, South Dakota. Zgonc will join another Wisconsin athlete in Alia Schilmgen who prepped at Sauk Prairie.
Elena Dragani Elena Dragani S Catholic Memorial | 2023 State WI – Catholic Memorial – MKE Sting
Committed to Wake Forest
Dragani is taking her game to the ACC to Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Wake Forest is a US News top 30 university. Dragani has been playing on the Sting 17 Gold squad this past season and is a consistent, dynamic, and fundamentally sound setter who can really put her attackers in the right spot. She has made a solid combo with Zoe Behrendt Zoe Behrendt 5'11" | S Whitefish Bay | 2023 State #113 Nation WI who has been a setter/right side and will also be heading to North Carolina where she has committed to play for the Tar Heels. Dragani will close up the club season and look for a big senior year at Catholic Memorial.
