This will feature the best of the best players in the entire country and we couldn’t be more excited to run it. Over the past 4 years, Prep Dig showcases have hosted over 2,500 prospects in front of hundreds of college coaches from across the country. In addition to watching the showcase in-person or via BallerTV, coverage of this event will be made available to hundreds of our college coach subscribers on PrepDig.com.
This series of articles will preview some amazing players who are already signed up for the Showcase. Seeing these players in person is going to give us a perfect perspective of how they move, how the ball rebounds off of their platform or hands, and other intricate aspects of their skill-sets. Here are a few players that I cannot wait to see live in person and take them through drills.
Sydney Barrett [2025] 5-11 Middle (HS: Guyer/Club: Madfrog /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Sydney is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on my radar with what I see so far. She plays for Denton Guyer High School and also for nationally known Madfrog volleyball program. Miss Barrett has an enormous amount of power in her right arm that is able to unload on the ball in quick tempo sets. She has a really long reach, which she uses while blocking and extending to attack the ball. She shows flashes of brilliance out of the middle and will turn some heads with her potential. Madfrog is known for producing some amazing athletes and they have a young prospect with a very high ceiling in Sydney. I am very intrigued to see how she fares against some of the best middles in the country in this showcase. Stay tuned to see more from Miss Barrett.
Lilliana Brisco [2025] 5-9 Setter (HS: Clark/Club: SA Magic/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Lilliana is currently an unranked prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but we will be watching closely at the showcase to see how she fares against the best. She plays at Clark High School and for the Magic volleyball program based out of San Antonio. From what I see, Miss Brisco is someone who definitely runs the show for her squad and can set at a pretty high level. Everyone will marvel at her ability to hit the setting target multiple times in a row from any area on the court. What I truly love about her ability to track the ball is the fact that she moves so well on the court. She doesn’t let her heels hit the floor much while she moves to the ball, which will keep her footwork super quick for a long time. Her feet bounce off of the floor and do not stick long. For a young player to do this, it shows that she has been coached very well and that she understands how important footwork is in the setting position.
Greer DeLeon [2025] 5-9 Outside (HS: Bishop McGuinness/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Greer is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Oklahoma State Rankings, but should be when I update the rankings for her class soon. She plays for Bishop McGuinness High School and also club volleyball for the nationally known OP2 club program out of the Oklahoma area. I have watched her in action a few times this year and she is as solid as they come on the pins. When you see her play, you can see why she made the varsity team as a freshman. She was a solid contributor for them all year long. She has been dominant at times during the club season for OP2. I love how high her volleyball IQ is and it is very apparent in every aspect of the game when you watch her play. She is very athletic and glides around the court in the left side position so fluidly. Miss DeLeon was born to play this game and has a bright future ahead of her. If you have a moment, check this kid out and you will not be disappointed.
