A look at five Campbell County players to watch follows.
Ava Crowl is a junior setter/right side hitter. Crowl is a vocal leader who runs the offense well. A player with strong communication skills, Crowl makes quick decisions on the court routinely and can deliver as a hitter from the right side of the net.
Ashlyn Niemeier is a senior defensive specialist. Niemeier possesses solid defensive skills and passing skills. Athletic, Niemeier, who digs and pursues well, covers the court thoroughly, using her quickness to deliver defensively.
Lexi Scharold is a junior middle blocker. Agile, Scharold moves well from side to side and closes blocks consistently. Scharold provides a strong presence along the middle of the net and executes quick attacks regularly.
Ella Thorwarth is a junior outside hitter/defensive specialist. A player with a diverse skill set, Thorwarth can produce both offensively and defensively. Thorwarth, who is a versatile player, possesses solid jumping skills and digs for quick attacks routinely.
Lucy Trapp is a sophomore setter/outside hitter. Trapp is a strong communicator who can lead offensively from her position on the court. Able to excel from both the back frow and the front row, Trapp can thrive as a primary passer as well as a go-to hitter.
