The ultimate goal after four days of matches is to bring home a medal. No teams medaled in our 11s age group. In our 12s group, there was a total of 136 teams within the three divisions where medals were won. In our 13s, there was a total of 206 teams within the five divisions where medals were won.
12s National had a total of 48 teams. Four were from Southern and two were from Northern. Congratulations to Forza1 North 12UA led by Melissa Coberly, Jack Coberly, and Austin Meador for placing 2nd with a record of 8-3, bringing home silver.
12s USA had a total of 24 teams. Three teams from Southern and three teams from Northern. In the USA division, congratulations go to two teams placing 3rd. T-street 12 under the guidance of Kalia Ames, McLain Mott, and Troy Tanner ended with an 8-1 record, and Coast 12-1 under the coaching staff of Tina Kinkead, Katie Meyers, Bridgette Salas, and Ozhan Bahrambeygui ended with a record of 7-2. Both teams brought home bronze.
12s American had 64 teams in the pool. Four were from Southern and two were from Northern. Taking 2nd place with a record of 9-3, congratulations go to Wave 12 coached by Hannah Miller and Reily Buechler. They brought home silver.
Our 13s age group had very impressive placements. They medaled in five out of seven divisions totaling 206 teams.
13s National had 48 teams, two from Southern and two from Northern. Two of our teams placed 1st and 2nd. First place in the National division, congratulations go to WAVE 13 under the guidance of Tammy Leibl, Kathrine Brouker, Kevin, Hodge, and Brennan Dean. They ended with a record of 10-1, bringing home gold. Congratulations go to City Volleyball 13 Gold for placing 2nd, coached by Stefanie Wigfall, Kathleen Luft, Mitch Kallick, and Ryan Duncan ending with a record of 8-3 bringing home silver.
13s USA division had 36 teams in the pool. Of those 36, three were from Southern, and two were from Northern. Congratulations go to United 13s Arete for taking 2nd place, bringing home silver with a record of 9-2. Their coaches who helped along the way were Evren Tanriverdi, Suzanne Magana, and Sierra Lim.
13 Liberty had 24 teams. Three were from Northern and one was from Southern. Congratulations go to a Northern team, Rage 13 coached by Reina Sykes, Garren Allala, and Gregory Soliz. Rage placed 3rd with a record of 5-4 bringing home bronze.
13 American had 64 teams in the pool. Five were from Southern and five were from Northern. Congratulations for taking 1st place with a record of 10-1 goes to Surfside 13 Legends coached by Loriann Perkins, Leandro Pinherio, Natasha Nguyen, and Devon Burki.
13 Patriot had 34 teams playing. There were eleven teams from Southern and 0 from Northern. Under the guidance of Danny Woodley, Kristian Kuld, and Lainey Gera, congratulations go to Actyve 13-Black for placing 2nd with a record of 9-2, bringing home silver. Coming in 3rd with a record of 7-4 was Mid City VBC 13-1 bringing home bronze. They were coached by Isaiah Beltran, Virna Beltran, Michelle Segovia and Litzy Alvarado.
342 teams combined competed in divisions where we had 12s and 13s representing. Twelve teams brought home hardware. Congratulations to all of the clubs mentioned, along with their players and coaching staff for finishing off a strong season.
