Gabrielle Stober – 2023
Stober is physical athlete with great all-around skills. She makes the biggest impact for this team and returns to lead them once again as a first-team all-league and all-district honoree in 2021. She can deliver a heavy ball with good range offensively as she swings through the middle zones and off one foot behind the setter most often. Stober is currently terminating 4.6 kills per set while hitting at a .380 efficiency. In the back row, she helps run the team’s offense as one of two setters and offers up nearly five assists per set. Defensively, she contributes over six digs per match while leading the team at the net with an impressive 3.1 blocks per match, an element that highlights her athleticism well.
Macy Johnson – 2023
Another key senior for the Panthers is Johnson as her heavy arm is difficult to defend. She gets her feet to the ball well that allows for movement and great pace upon contact at the top of her jump. Johnson has potential to bring big heat. An all-conference selection, the 5’11 Johnson currently averages 4.0 kills per set while pushing 900 total kills for her career with a .202 efficiency over her four seasons so far. She contributes well in other areas as she has over 100 career service aces while also averaging 2.3 blocks and 8.0 digs per match in 2021.
Allison Hughes – 2023
The third best option offensively this early season, Hughes is averaging 1.2 kills per set. However, she is a solid presence on the defensive side as she is among team leaders for the Panthers in blocking at 2.4 per match. Her numbers are on pace to amount to her best season of her career as with 17 total blocks over 7 matches she is certain to surpass the 40 total blocks she earned in 2021, further contributing to this critical defensive element to Parkway’s team effort.
Brittyn Bruns – 2026
Just a freshman, Bruns is making a big impact for the unbeaten Panthers. Sharing the setting role this season, she leads the team with 4.8 assists per set. On the offensive side she is part of the primary four options and averages 1.2 kills per set to help support the huge offensive duo they have in the middle. Some of her biggest contributions come in other aspects of the game as she has a team leading 11 total service aces in the early season while leading the team with 10.7 digs per match. She is establishing career highs in this first season of which include nine kills and 14 digs in their opening match over Adams Central and more recently 18 assists in their 3-0 win over Fort Recovery.
