– 2024 | Mercy McAuley
The junior outside hitter had a big-time match against a big-time opponent as the Wolves remain the only unbeaten team in conference play in the highly competitive GGCL. In their 3-1 victory over Mount Notre Dame, Adkins terminated a massive 27 kills while hitting at a .357 efficiency. She also picked 18 total digs. She is a big reason my Mercy McAuley is having such big success so far in 2022 and are currently ranked #2 in Division II.
Riley King – 2025 | Lakota
Just a sophomore, King had a career best effort on Tuesday with 18 kills in Lakota’s 3-1 win over New Riegel. King is the biggest offensive threat for the Raiders as she has increased her impact from a season ago. With her ability to score in the middle and at the pins when needed she is currently averaging a team high 3.1 kills per set. As she plays through the back row as well she also contributes nearly nine digs per match.
Kate Roche – 2024 | Wickliffe
The Wickliffe Blue Devils picked up their second win of the season with a 3-1 decision over Grand Valley. Roche, a junior outside hitter, had a career high 17 kills and hit with solid efficiency at .483. She was terrific in other aspects of the match as well as she contributed match highs with six service aces and 13 digs. She has good arm work at the top of her jump and shows ability to move the ball around counter to what the defense puts in front of her. She leads her team overall at 2.9 kills per set.
Kaci Carroll – 2025 | Huntington
Carroll was impressive in Huntington’s 3-1 win over Paint Valley. The sophomore outside hitter led the Huntsmen with a double-double that included a match high 14 kills on the offensive side and 10 digs from her defensive effort. In her second season, she has seen her productivity increase significantly with more opportunities to get on the floor. When she gets her feet to the ball and is on balance she can generate some good power. She is averaging 2.7 kills per set and has seen the most volume of attempts for Huntington as they improved to 5-4 overall.

– 2025 | Anderson
With team highs of 10 kills and four service aces, Crider led Anderson to a solid 3-0 win over a good Little Miami team in ECC league play. Just a sophomore, Crider has good experience from the club season and it has been translating well for Anderson as she leads the team with 2.1 kills per set, which is an increase from her output in her freshman season in 2021. She has good lift at the end of her approach work and can take big swings with good arm speed.
