1. St. Thomas Aquinas (32-3)
A light week for the Saints after a tournament title the weekend before. They took care of business beating Gardner Edgerton in three sets.
2. St. James (31-3)
St. James captured a tournament title including a win over #5 Olathe Northwest.
3. Liberty (34-2)
Liberty had a 7-1 week, with the one defeat in a tournament to Lafayette in three sets. They finish up the regular season with Oak Park this week.
4. Liberty North (25-5)
Knocked down Lee’s Summit West and Blue Springs last week after a highly competitive tournament the weekend prior.
5. Olathe Northwest (25-7)
Came up just short to #2 St. James last weekend in tournament action. A 5-1 week for the Ravens.
6. Olathe West (24-6)
The Owls had a couple of losses but none that were shocking so they hold strong at 6. They were dropped by Washburn Rural and Seaman.
7. Shawnee Mission Northwest (24-9)
SMNW is peaking at the right time heading into the postseason. Winners of 8 straight, add #10 Lansing to that list.
8. Blue Valley Northwest (23-10)
Northwest beat crosstown rival Blue Valley in three to put them one spot ahead in the polls. They had a good week beating Blue Valley North and Lansing.
9. Blue Valley (26-9)
The Tigers continue to play well knocking down Columbia Rock Bridge and Blue Valley North. The one loss was to #9 Blue Valley Northwest in three.
10. Lansing (24-7)
Lansing took a couple of losses this week but to very quality opponents to stay in the top 10.
11. Heritage Christian (26-7)
The class 3 Power house is still plowing down opponents en route to another state title. Winners of seven straight.
12. Mill Valley (28-8)
Mill Valley continues to impress as the season progresses. They beat a good Lee’s Summit team and were dropped by Blue Valley North in three.
13. Pembroke Hill (20-3)
The Hill only had one match last week and took care of business but they have a battle with a team just outside the rankings in St. Michael’s this evening.
14. Lawrence Free State (23-12)
Free started the year as high as the top 5 and took some early season lumps but is playing as well as any team in the area.
15. Baldwin (29-3)
Baldwin bounced back after a tough week to get back in their winning ways.
