15 Open
HPSTL 15 Royal had a good start to the trip going 2-1 on day one and staying in bid contention advancing to Group 1 pool play on the second day. They ran into a buzzsaw on day 2, losing all three matches including a three-setter in match two and a two-set match which saw them drop the first one 28-26. They would finish the tournament tied for 15, going 2-5.
From the west side of the state, Mizuno Club North 15 Sam ended their open bid attempt with a 25th-place finish, going 5-3. Their first day saw them going 1-2, sending them to Group 2 on the second day and out of bid contention. They found success going 2-1, including closing the deal on two three-set matches. They closed out the tournament by winning two matches to clinch the Emerald bracket.
15 Liberty
The Liberty division had two bids in play. HPSTL 15 Orange gave it a strong run with a 7-2 weekend. They opened the tournament with a tough three-set defeat at the hands of Texas Fury. They wouldn’t lose again for a while, winning seven straight matches on the way to the gold bracket semi-finals. They found themselves in a win and you’re in scenario against STVA 15 Mizuno. Unfortunately, they would be swept and finish in a tied for 3rd.
HP South 15 Premier made the journey south and finished 5-3, good for 41st. This run saw them win their final four matches.
15 American
In the one-bid division, 15 American saw Adidas Legacy Jrs. 15 Black pack their bags and travel to Florida. They had a good showing, going 4-4 in the tournament. The Olathe, Kansas based club won its final three matches after a tough start.
