Hello, Class of 2025! Rankings Update
In this article:
The Class of 2025 is still a little unknown to us! We learn something through every tournament, every high school game, and every highlight video. That is why you see more movement in this class than many of the other! Some of these players saw little time on varsity as freshmen and showed out in 2022. Then some players have been dominating since they were in their first high school seasons. There are others who shined on the club circuit in their 15s year and some making splashes to start the 2023 volleyball year. And finally, some make themselves known at the Prep Dig Top 250 Showcase.
It takes many hours to compile the rankings. Each update is tough as we watch matches live, view highlight videos, get input from coaches, look at stats, etc. It is never an easy task but we won’t complain! We always like to add the disclaimer that rankings are subjective. Our rankings don’t dictate if you will be recruited. They don’t tell anyone how good someone will be at the next level. They are our opinions on the present and what we see as we navigate the sophomore player pool in Missouri. Also, if a player dropped in updated ranks it doesn’t always correlate with their play. Often times we feel others elevated their play to great lengths to warrant moving up the list, causing others to fall. With that said, here are the updated rankings for 2025 and the state of Missouri. Keep tuning in this week as we break down the class.
