Madison Snow, Temecula – Snow serves a standing float serve well and reciprocally handles a serve that goes 25-30 feet well. She is a two-way player. Being an ambitious hitter that prioritizes a deep-court attack makes her a player to watch in years going forward. Keep watching Snow.
Halie McGinest, Mizuno Long Beach – McGinest is an opposite that is crafty with her hitting. Viewers should sit back and admire the diversity of her hits. Additionally, she keeps the ball close to her body and stays with her pass after contact. She could find her way through six rotations well.
Elle Walker, NorCal – Walker is everything but a walker on the court. In the same vein, her energy is amazing. Her quick, reactive footwork makes her a versatile hitter that hits on the middle and the right side. Walker is a high-motor athlete.
Madison Johnson, FORZA1 – Johnson is reliable. Her teammates will always know what to expect and should find ease in playing with her. This outside hitter is one that allows the ball to come to her in play and goes toward the ball on her well-executed jump float serve. She will keep the ball rolling.
Reese Brown, A4 – A magician could take notes watching the elusive Brown take an approach like an accelerating wind-up car. Watch Brown for a clinic on an approach pattern. Additionally, she gets outside and has the ability to hit an inside set. Her closing speed opens up many opportunities to terminate a rally.
Maggie Lima, City – There is a magnetic force between Lima and where the ball rebounds to during a rally. This disciplined middle hitter is locked in and follows the ball laying out a blueprint for the defense behind her. Teammates can follow her lead to stay in the action. Leadership by example is her calling card.
Sydney May, Seal Beach – May is a lefty that sores in to intercept the ball on its path to her. She is a trusting hitter. With that, her growth potential is high. She drives the ball to score which is always an impressive way to play.
