Here are some of the 2024 middle hitters that stood out:
Ava Chansari (2024) | MB | Encore – Chansari has a presence that commands attention amongst her opponents and teammates. Additionally, she hits the ball with great depth in the court supported by a reach that opens up some angling for more attention from a setter.
Aliah Williams (2024) | MB | Top Flight – Williams is a player that any defensive play better not blink because when she hits the ball is gets down fast. Her team looks at her while in the air because she also levitates and stays there for just a little bit longer than most.
Kaualani Tupuola (2024) | MB | Actyve – Kaualani’s action and movement on the court leads someone watching to think she is all about reading the opponent’s hits. Her footwork gets her to the outside blocker very well allowing her teammates to build a well-formed block.
Marie Varshawsky (2024) | MB | SF Elite – Varshawsky plays with a determination that is inspiring and additionally creates a play-making ability. As determined as she is, she maintains support when he teammates make plays and thus provides a solid foundation for teamwork.
Amani Razvi (2024) | MB | Encore – Razvi has quick, active feet needed to go two directions and additionally stay in the offensive gameplan when the outcome of the past changes it’s plan. She is a fun teammate to watch because she goes with the flow of the game as the ball rebounds around.
Zyon Aubrey (2024) | MB | APEX – Aubrey steps up to a challenge. She gives her all with an incredible work ethic that is needed when blocking the middle. The specificity of her skill work is an inspiration to anyone watching intently.
Taylor Wood (2024) | MB | Next Level – As the game can go in many unexpected directions, Wood pushes onward no matter how far she may be from the play the develops. She is aware of the space that she needs to cover on the floor and uses her arms to extend and close gaps that exist.
