We have been watching the 2026 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.
Ava McBride Ava McBride 6'1" | S Notre Dame Academy | 2026 State CA [2026] 6-0 Setter/Right Side (HS: Notre Dame Academy/Club: Actyve/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss McBride officially to the State Rankings. Ava is currently ranked as the 4th best overall prospect and 2nd best setter in the state according to the 2026 Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for Notre Dame Academy and plays club for Actyve. This young lady is one of the most athletic setters in the nation in my opinion. She uses her jump set really well to hold the block and dishes to all her hitters with it. I love how she can thread the needle with the best of them with her quick sets. The ball comes out super fast and clean. She looks like a collegiate setter already at such a young age. As an attacker, this kid can bang! She has a heck of a cannon and unloads it from the right side of the court with authority. Her down swing is one of the fastest in her age group for sure. With her height and long reach, she gets on top of the ball so well and can put it in front of the attack line with ease. We are very excited to have her listed as a state ranked athlete. Please help us congratulate her on the special honor.
Memphis Burnett Memphis Burnett 5'11" | MB Santa Margarita | 2026 State CA [2026] 6-0 Middle (HS: Santa Margarita/Club: Tstreet/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Burnett to the prestigious State Rankings. Memphis is currently ranked as the 5th best overall prospect and best middle in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for Santa Margarita High School and also for the Tstreet Volleyball Club. Memphis is a very athletic and super fast middle who can get up in a hurry. Her feet do not stick on the floor very long during her movement on the court and that helps with her timing. As a blocker, she uses her athleticism well to close the pins. As an attacker, she runs a higher tempo middle but it works so well for her. She has an immense amount of power that is showcased on every attack she attempts. This two-sport stud also shines on the beach volleyball scene as well. That will help her ball control in indoor as she must do everything well in the sand in order to be competitive. We are very proud to have her listed amongst Cali’s best players. Please help us congratulate her on the honor of being ranked.
Finley Krystkowiak Finley Krystkowiak 6'3" | OH Torrey Pines | 2026 State CA [2026] 6-3 Outside (HS: Torrey Pines/Club: Wave/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Krystkowiak officially to the State Rankings. Finley is currently ranked as the 6th best overall prospect and the 3rd best outside in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for Torrey Pines High School and also for the nationally recognized Wave volleyball club. I always say…you cannot teach height and Finley has tons of it. Her varsity squad used every inch of her on offense as the young freshman had 278 kills on 811 attempts. She hit at a very solid clip with a .206 hitting percentage. This kind of production already in her young high school career is phenomenal and we cannot wait to see how many records she will ultimately break. I have been lucky enough to watch her in action this year at a few national events and she was amazing. Most of my evaluation came from in person analysis. Her overall level of play is elite and she deserves every accolade she ends up earning. Please help us congratulate her on earning a position as a top player in the state of California.
