Last week, we covered a few 2024 liberos who are bound to make a splash when Nationals kicks off in late June and early July. As we conclude our week of 2025 features, we’re bringing back the same motif for this star-studded class. This time, however, there are no positions off-limits.
Here are a few potential GJNC stock risers I’ll follow from Nebraska’s Class of 2025.
Hasselbalch has long been a do-everything contributor for Nebraska ONE 16 Synergy. She has a rare combination of skills for a middle blocker, as her tough serving and effective floor defense make her a great choice for the M1 position. Termination behind the setter is yet another strength that will make Hasselbalch a must-watch player when Nebraska ONE chases an Open title.
Speaking of multi-talented frontcourt players for 16 Synergy, Cose is another player that can lock down a couple different spots whenever Nebraska ONE needs it. The Norris product has an extensive background as a middle blocker and an opposite, granting Cose some advanced knowledge of 16 Synergy’s schemes and strategies. That will be a vital factor toward Nebraska ONE’s climb to the podium in Chicago.
Adaptability will surely be a recurring theme throughout this feature. Livingston embodies that trait perfectly, as she has proven her prowess on both pins during her prep career. This high-flying pin hitter will certainly not be daunted by the big stage of Nationals, as Livingston has thrived under pressure with Papillion-La Vista South. Premier 16 Gold now has its big moment in the Open division, and Livingston will be ready.
Adding Kerkman to the Premier 16 Gold roster has paid immediate dividends this year. She has proven throughout 2023 that she can catch fire whether she’s a starter or subbing in off the bench in clutch situations. This is the true essence of a team player, and Kerkman’s contributions will be fascinating to follow in our season finale.

Dzingle is one of the few athletes on Nebraska Pride Gold 16s that doesn’t represent Minden during the high school season. You wouldn’t know that by the way this middle blocker meshes with her Nebraska Pride teammates, however. Dzingle gets plenty of opportunities to terminate whenever she’s in the frontcourt, and that’s a continuation of her breakout sophomore season with Kearney Catholic.
Kamery forms the foundation of Nebraska Pride Gold 16s’s entire operation. Her dominance as both a setter and a hitter has been well documented, and she will continue to do both as this upstart team heads to Nationals. Then, it’s off to the high school season where Kamery and Minden are a safe bet to return to Lincoln in pursuit of a championship.

Palmer has long been an unsung hero in the Premier Nebraska 16 Black lineup. Her presence on the right pin, where she has been incredibly efficient this season, will be a serious x-factor when this team faces off against top-tier national competition. Moreover, we’re anticipating more solid production from Palmer in the fall as Omaha Marian retools its talented roster.
Here’s an athlete who has undoubtedly made major gains during her time with Premier Nebraska–and she’s just getting started. Hrbek can play a flex role with Premier 16 Black as a middle blocker or an opposite, giving the team a wealth of lineup options in any given match. We’re anxious to find out which of those roles rises to the forefront when Hrbek and 16 Black compete for Gold this summer.
Pillay has been on the rise lately for more than just her work on the club side. She made the most of her appearances with Papillion-La Vista last fall, offering optimism toward a 2023 breakout with Banzai VBC 16 Select. That has absolutely materialized, and now we’ll see what Pillay can accomplish in Chicago’s big-time environment.
Teter has already been featured as one of our new additions in this class, but she has a huge opportunity to make an early climb and elevate her stock. The Banzai VBC 16 Select first landed on our radar after a strong outing at the Northern Lights Qualifier. That all culminated in a bid-earning triumph at the Great Plains Bid Tournament, so we’ll see what Teter can accomplish on the big stage this summer.
